Project Information:
In 2009, planning for a Dynamo Stadium began. Many locations were proposed for the stadium, but it was ultimately decided to be located just east of downtown Houston. The project cost over ninety-million dollars, but was funded rather quickly by donors and partners. May of 2012 brought about the first game in BBVA Compass Stadium, which could hold 22,000 fans, some of whom could be in one of the 33 main suites or 2 party suites. 1,100 fans could also be in the club seating area. Overall the site is 12 acres, with the building itself being 340,000 square feet.

The stadium is also a winner of the LEED Silver Certification for its advances in sustainability. ParkUSA provided a Lift Station and Break Tank for the BBVA Compass Stadium’s use.
